President’s Welcome

Welcome to Mount Olive College. Here in the United States, we always have believed in the power of education: it has been the great equalizer and the provider of opportunities for all. This is most certainly true at Mount Olive College. Mount Olive College was established by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists in 1951. At Mount Olive, “Transforming Education. Transform Your Life” is much more than just a slogan. Instead, it is a fundamental description of who we are and what we value.

Mount Olive College is a vibrant, dynamic institution that provides a faith-affiliated, values-centered education in the arts, sciences, and professional studies. It is one of the fastest-growing private institutions in North Carolina. The rapid growth both in size and reputation is because of its recognition for being an innovative, creative, and student-centered institution. It has been a leader in providing innovative educational programming and has transformed the way that learning opportunities are provided to students throughout the region.
