This Year's Past Events

 

 

The North Carolina Criminal Justice Association fall conference was held at the Sheraton Atlantic Beach , October 14 and 15.  The conference theme was forensics.

The 6th Annual Mount Olive College Criminal Justice Seminar was held in Mount Olive College Chapel at 1:00 PM, November 20.  The featured speaker was Angel Funk, Domestic Violence Advocate and Outreach Coordinator of Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. 

The Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences annual conference  was held in Baltimore , Maryland , from February 28 until March 4, 2006.  Details available at http://www.acjs.org/

Criminal Justice Day
Thursday, March 23
9 am-3:30 pm

There were local law enforcement, EMS , fire department booths set up to allow faculty/staff & students to ask questions.  Following the Booth Expo, there was two guest speakers in Rodgers Chapel.  To end the day, demonstrations and expos were in the Kornegay Arena parking lot.  Below you will find a tentative schedule of the daily events that took place around campus.

Where:  Walnut Creek Country Club  Driving Directions (click on link)

Time:    9:00 a.m. sign-in; 10:00 a.m. shotgun start
Rain Date: April 14th
Cost:    $55 per player (includes 1 Mulligan)
Available at the Event: $5 - 50/50 Put-off, Mulligan (extra), Prizes, Awards

Registration will be in the Fairway Lounge
Food and drink can be purchased in the Fairway Lounge before the round or at the turn or after you have finished playing.

All proceeds will go directly to Mount Olive College Criminal Justice/Sociology Department Endowed Scholarship Fund
