Alumni
Mount Olive College is proud of its alumni and has an Alumni Association.
Membership is open to all former students who were ever enrolled at the College and departed under honorable circumstances. Degree completion is not a requirement for membership.
Membership is also extended to former students of forerunner institutions that evolved into the present institution known today as Mount Olive College. This includes former students of Ayden Seminary, Eureka College, Mount Allen Junior College, and Mount Olive Junior College.
The purpose of the Alumni Association is as follows:
- To serve as a link between the alumni and their College perpetuating the purpose, ideals, and pride in the institution and its members past, present, and future.
- To provide alumni with information about the College, its students, staff, programs, and policies.
- To share, acknowledge, and celebrate in appropriate ways the milestones and accomplishments of present and former Mount Olive College students.
- To be a resource available to alumni for academic, professional, religious, and social activities.
- To be a resource available to the College for recruiting, fund raising, community and church relations, and networking.

Carolyn Fader Hill '64, 2007-2009 Alumni Association President

Since 1951 MOC has created thousands of alumni. With over 11,000 correct mailing addresses, MOC Alumni are literally all over the world. The question then comes to mind, how can alumni lead Mount Olive College into the future?
“As alumni we must lead by example in giving and participation as we are able,” Hill stated. “I have a personal interest in MOC foremost because I saw this school grow from a one building college to what it is today. I hope that my efforts serving as President of the Alumni Association will give me an opportunity to give back to MOC what it gave me when I began my education process.”
Whether traditional or cohort, we can get involved; volunteer to help with events, mentor present students and support alumni/College programs by our attendance. We can lead MOC into the future by giving dollars. Our Alumni goal for 2008-2009 is $500,000. This past year Alumni funded endowed scholarships to help bring the best and brightest students to MOC; Alumni increased cohort technology to link communication to all locations; Alumni joined the Trojan Club to help athletics and gave to all sports; Alumni donated to the building program to help with new buildings and maintenance on the older ones; Alumni continued their commitment to the naming of the Archives Room in the library that houses the history of MOC - a $50,000 pledge over five years. This is our fourth year in this commitment. Alumni board members bring a gift (doesn't matter the size) every time they come to campus. They are committed to leading.
Alumni, no matter the amount of your gift, it will make a diference. Last year 710 alumni were donors. Consider being a first time donor with a gift indicating your year of graduation such as $19.66 $20.01 or $20.08, etc. I believe there are others just like you and just like me who also should have an opportunity for a special educational experience at Mount Olive College. Join me this spring in being one of 1,000 alumni who will commit to "Leading into the Future."
There is a place for you; join me in leading!
