We are excited to be pursuing MOC insignia license plates. We will not know what the prefix or suffix representing the College will be until we have our 300 applications submitted.
Any North Carolina resident who has a vehicle registered in North Carolina may be included in the initial sign-up for a Mount Olive College insignia license plate. The cost of the regular collegiate license plate is $25 and the personalized collegiate plate is $55. (Only this fee is due at time of application.) For every license plate purchased, $15 is remitted back to Mount Olive College. You will see below what we have been told; therefore, you may send your completed application form and your check made payable to Mount Olive College to:

We hope to have our 300 applications by the fall; we will then be sending all to the DMV in Raleigh. Should there be an insufficient number of applications, we will return your check and application.

Must have 300 people sign up for the plates in advance
$25/year + regular plate fees for collegiate plate $55/year + regular plate fees for collegiate plate with personalization
A suffix or prefix will be chosen for the plate (for example "MOC 1234" or "1234 MOC" if available)
Logo must be approved by NCDLA
Can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on when application is received
