Weather Alert - Hurricane Earl Approaching Carolina Coast: Thursday's men's soccer match vs. Florida Southern and women's soccer match at UNC Pembroke remain as scheduled. However, the weather might be a factor as Hurricane Earl is projected to be near the North Carolina coast Thursday afternoon or evening. At this time, the North Carolina coast is not projected to take a direct hit, but the hurricane could be strong enough and close enough to the coast to affect the inland area of Eastern North Carolina. Check the website for updates on the status of Thursday's soccer matches and other school events. Here are links to pages on weather.com, one to Mount Olive's forecast and one to Hurricane Earl's projected path. Mount Olive Weather | Hurricane Earl
