Office of Public Affairs
The Office of Public Affairs provides relevant news focusing on the people and programs of the College to the media, the public and to our internal audiences with the goal of increasing the awareness of the College as an institution that is transforming lives and transforming education.
By raising visibility of Mount Olive College, the Office of Public Affairs helps the College attract and retain a diverse, academically talented applicant pool, student body and faculty. It is also our goal to gain the respect and support of philanthropic individuals and organizations. The Office of Public Affairs employs a number of public relations tools and methods to achieve these goals. Primary among them are the development of news releases and the thrice annually publication of the MOC Today , the College's alumni magazine.
The Office of Public Affairs also provides a variety of communication services to College departments, including invitation development, event services and promotion, photo services and media relations.
