Phi Beta Lambda
The Zeta Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda was chartered on April 10, 1957, distinguishing it as one of the oldest student organizations at Mount Olive College. Phi Beta Lambda is the national organization for college students enrolled in business programs designed to develop professional competencies. Phi Beta Lambda is an integral part of the instructional program and promotes a sense of civic and personal responsibility. 
 
 
Sigma Beta Delta
The purposes of Sigma Beta Delta are to encourage and recognize scholarship and achievement among students of business, management and administration, and to encourage and promote personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind.
 
Membership in Sigma Beta Delta is the highest national recognition a business student can receive at Mount Olive College. To be eligible for membership, a business student must rank in the upper 10 percent of the graduating class and be invited to membership by the faculty officers.   • Sonya O’Brien was re-elected to The NC PBL Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors and served on the State Awards Program Committee which administered and certified all testing events and competitions.
  • Dr. Norm Crumpacker and Ms. Sonya O’Brien are Professional Division members and attended the annual meeting for the Professional Division and The NC PBL Foundation, Inc.
  • Dr. Crumpacker also served as a judge for the Help Desk event and assisted with Professional Division activities.

The Robert L Tillman School of Business appreciates the continues support Phi Beta Lambda has received from the College through the years. 
MOC’s PBL chapter was chartered April 10, 1957 and has been an active chapter the past 51 years.
