Admissions Office Manager
Mount Olive College has an immediate opening for an Admissions Office Manager at their Mount Olive location. Responsibilities include; managing the Office of Admissions, supervising the data entry support team with collection, inputting, formatting and reporting of information; customer service and direct mail development and processing; oversees all phone calls, walk ins and other inquiries with special emphasis on the recruitment of new transfer students. Associate’s degree in office systems or office management or a combination of formal education and experience managing a fast paced office environment. Administrative Assistant
Mount Olive College at Mount Olive seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative assistance and support to the Office of the Dean of the Tillman School of Business in problem solving, project planning and management, and time-management. Organizes meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other special events, as required. Must have excellent customer service skills and be highly organized. The ability to multi-task and be a team player is paramount. Requires minimal direction and takes guided initiative. Must be reliable, tactful and discrete. Ability to gather data and prepare reports. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite a must. Responsibilities include: phone, mail, filing, generating financial reports and receiving visitors. Desirable traits include: strong interpersonal, communication skills, Spanish language facility, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies within a diverse community.
Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree preferred with formal administrative/secretarial training or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus. Circulation Clerk/Receptionist
There is an immediate opening at the Moye Library at Mount Olive College for a full-time Circulation Clerk/Receptionist. Successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be very organized. The ability to multi-task and attention to detail is paramount. Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and library experience a plus. Responsibilities include: library circulation desk, assist with basic library information/questions, prepare reports/lists, phone, filing. Associate Degree preferred, high school diploma required. Financial Aid Counselor
Financial aid counselor position available at our New Bern location. This position reports to the director of financial aid. Financial aid counselors are members of the enrollment team and must be able to work with admissions representatives, business office personnel and the registrar's office in order to maximize enrollment. This position will also have responsibilities in our Jacksonville location in addition to the New Bern location.
Financial aid counselors must be knowledgeable of federal, state and institutional aid regulations and apply them to each individual student's eligibility. These employees assist current and prospective students with filing their free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) and completion of loan applications, complete verification audits, and meet often with students to help them with other financial concerns. Some college credit is mandatory, an Associate Degree is preferred. Mount Olive College offers a competitive benefit package. Bus Driver
Mount Olive College is searching for a part-time bus driver to drive athletic teams and singing groups in a 29-passenger bus. Must have flexible schedule since travel may be overnight and on any day of the week.
