Along with shared responsibilities teaching current general music courses, the successful candidate will seek ways to recruit instrumental majors, teach private and “techniques” courses in winds, brass, or percussion, depending on the candidate’s area of expertise, and conduct the college’s instrumental ensembles. A completed doctorate is preferred.

Director of the Annual Fund

Mount Olive College at Mount Olive is searching for a Director of the Annual Fund.  Individual will plan and execute a comprehensive Annual Giving Program designed to continue to build operating support for the college.  Individual will work closely and cooperatively with other Directors to coordinate a comprehensive approach to the identification, cultivation and solicitation of targeted donors and/or potential donors to maximize giving.  Some travel required.  Bachelor’s degree plus 3 to 5 years of fund raising experience required.  Submit a cover letter, resume and the names, addresses, phone numbers of at least four personal or professional references to: ssweet@moc.edu   
 

 Director of Advisement

Mount Olive College at Mount Olive is looking for a Director of Advisement for their Student Success Center.  The Director is responsible for developing a comprehensive advising program and initiating and coordinating a network of programs and outreach efforts to promote the academic success of traditional and non-traditional students.  Successful candidate will also provide general advising support for new and continuing students.
Qualifications include:  Master’s Degree required and a minimum of one year experience in higher education within the area of academic advising or teaching.  Must be flexible to work some evenings and/or weekend hours. Administative Assistant

Mount Olive College at Mount Olive is searching for a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide support for the Office of Student Development. Excellent organizational, time management and self-initiating skills a must. Applicant must be competent in Microsoft office; MS Word and Excel. Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, M-F and some weekends. Bus Driver

Mount Olive College is searching for a part-time bus driver to drive athletic teams and singing groups in a 29-passenger bus.
