Charge

The grade appeal policy of the College provides an avenue for a student to contest the grade received in a course. The mission of the Academic Appeals Committee is to facilitate the grade appeal process in an impartial, fair, and compassionate manner, which honors integrity of all stake holders in the dispute. The purpose of the Academic Appeals Committee is to examine the contested grade in light of the student's complaint, the faculty member's response, and the grading practices outlined in the course in order to make a recommendation to the Vice President for Academic Affairs regarding the resolution of the grade appeal. The college covenant and code of conduct shall be honored in all cases.
