The primary audience of the official web site is current students. Secondary audiences include prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, media, and the general public searching for information about the College.
Official web pages for academic and administrative units must be created by the College Webmaster in adherence to official College web page policies, graphic design policies. College web pages will utilize the standard template(s) provided by the College Webmaster via the College’s distributed web content editor, and will be subject to approval processes as set by the College’s Web Presence committee.
Mount Olive College does not monitor the content of material transported across its networks; however, the Office of Information Technology will investigate complaints about violations. The College reserves the right to remove or limit access to materials posted on College-owned computers when applicable College policies or state or federal laws are violated. Individuals who believe that a violation of this policy has occurred should contact the Office of Information Technology.
