Who can use Counseling Services?
Counseling Services is provided for students at Mount Olive College and is based on voluntary participation through self-referral or staff/faculty referral. Counseling Services is never to be considered a replacement for resources already being utilized. All chronic concerns are referred to external resources.
How much does it cost?
The first three sessions are prepaid through Mount Olive College. If further counseling is recommended, the student will be referred to an external resource. If this external resource referral is refused, the student will be held responsible for any additional costs of future sessions through Counseling Services at Mount Olive College.
What are the office hours?
Hours for Counseling are available both on campus and at our off campus location at 10101 North Breazeale Avenue, Unit C, Mt Olive, NC 28365. The on campus hours are structured at the beginning of the semester to represent both day and evening hours. Walk-ins can be at either location, but setting up an appointment will assure you of less wait time. In addition to the posted office number, you may use 919-658-7500 to establish an appointment.
