All students of Mount Olive College are eligible to use the services of the Health Center.
Students taking four or more hours are asked to submit a physical form dated within one year of attendance and signed by either a physician or advanced practice professional. (Student athletes need the physical performed and submitted three months prior to attendance.) Security and confidentiality is assured if the physical form is mailed in the green Health Services envelope provided in your admission package or faxed to 919-635-3778.
Immunizations may be submitted with physicals or sent to the Registrar’s Office at Waylin Center at 551 Michael Martin Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365. Forms may also be submitted by fax at 919-658-7179. The office is open Mondays-Thursdays from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. For more information, please give the Registrar’s Office a call at 919-658-7835.
Health Services is staffed by a licensed registered nurse (JoAnne Morgan, RN), and hours at the Milton M. Lownes Jr., MD Student Health Center are Mondays-Fridays 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. All visits to Health Services are confidential.
Note: A visit to Health Services does not give the student an "excused" absence from class. The student should contact the professor directly prior to missing class.
